Begnadigung" in Form eines Foto-Kinetisches Objekts mit Toninstallation.
Eine symbolisierte Todeszelle in Form eines Kubus in dem sich verfremdete
Porträts von Todeskandidaten auf Transparentfolie bewegen. 18 rotierende
Porträtpaare, bestehend aus jeweils einem Porträtpaar einer hingerichteten
und begnadigten Person, sind Ausdruck der Zufälligkeit von menschlicher
Gnade in ihrer Abhängigkeit von innerer und äußerer Beeinflussung im
Unterschied zur göttlichen Gnade. Dazu in Form einer Toncollage
Ausschnitte von Interviews kurz vor der Hinrichtung.
Background
An artistic exploration on the topic "Death penalty - clemency" in the form of
a photo-kinetic object with sound installation. Symbolized a death cell in the
form of a cube in which altered portraits from death row inmates on
transparency plastic foil are in the move. 18 rotating double portraits, each
pair consisting of a portrait of an executed and pardoned person, are an
expression of the randomness of human grace in their dependence on
internal and external influences in contrast to the divine grace. Additional as
a sound collage cut-outs of interviews shortly before the execution.
